Upon working on several engineering projects under Industrial and Systems Engineering. I have gathered knowledge that may be applicable to many companies. Including Statistical Analysis where I can read data and solve problems using approaches with the help of programs like Minitab to make a conclusion. I have learned how to design furniture, office spaces, and service counters that have been manufactured to ease the employee's physical and mental health in order to increase productivity. Additionally, I have learned about several manufacturing processes and what companies are using to create products including Sand Casting, 3-D printing, etc.

I have divided some of the projects into sections for easier navigation.

Lab Report 1:

Flowchart and Microsoft Project

Lab Report 2:

AutoCAD

Lab Report 3:

Microsoft Access

In this course, I have gained knowledge about the Fourth Industrial Revolution and its pillars along with important programs that could fulfill the needs for that. The lab reports include some important softwares including Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Access, AutoCAD, and Arena (This happens to be my favorite class from the Industrial Engineering Department)

OPERATIONS RESEARCH - OPTIMIZATION

Optimization Lab Report 1

Optimization Lab Report 3

Optimization Lab Report 2

Optimization Lab Report 4

In this course, I have learned to evaluate processes to maximize efficiency, increase revenue, and optimize the available resources by using the minimal amount of resources with the help of mathematical processes and programs including Lingo and Microsoft Excel (Solver)

ERGONOMICS AND SAFETY ENGINEERING

Physical Ergonomics

Project (Work Analysis I)

Cognitive Ergonomics

Project (Work Analysis II)

Safety Engineering

Project

There are three courses in this section; Work Analysis and Design 1 where I learned about physical ergonomics to design workstations, furniture, and offices that would increase productivity based on anthropometry (physical dimensions of individuals at a workplace) as well as organizing with the 5-S Method (Six Sigma Method)

In Work Analysis and Design 2, I learned about cognitive ergonomics by understanding how an employee could work with their human senses in mind and tackling ways to increase their productivity through their environment (light, sound, temperature, etc.) and adjusting the job to the person.

In Safety Engineering, I learned about the safety of employees in a workplace and potential work hazards that may occur. I was introduced to PPE (personal protective equipment) and how to solve problems by first understanding the hazard and isolating it and figuring out ways to limit that before heading for PPE. I also learned about important processes such as Risk Analysis and FMEA
